Where the
sea begins.

Sochi is one of Russia's best-known Black Sea resorts, surrounded by the Caucasus Mountains. The city combines a long coastline with a warm subtropical atmosphere.

A closer look
at wildlife.

Adler is a popular district of Greater Sochi. Its attractions include wildlife parks and animal exhibits where visitors can see animals in carefully designed habitats.

Life

The oceanarium offers an underwater view of marine life. The large aquarium tanks make it possible to see fish and other sea creatures from a completely different perspective.

The mountains
take over.

Lake Ritsa is a famous mountain lake in Abkhazia, set among the Greater Caucasus. Its deep blue-green water and steep forested slopes create one of the region's most recognizable landscapes.

The city
after dark.

Sochi's Sea Port is one of the city's iconic waterfront landmarks. At night, its architecture and lights reflect across the water, giving the harbor a completely different mood.
